강창욱(운영자)은 iPhone·iPad·Mac용 독서 기록 앱 ODDPAGE를 운영합니다. 이 방침은 개인정보 보호법 제30조에 따라 개인정보의 이용과 보관, 이용자의 권리를 안내합니다. 대한민국 이용자를 주된 대상으로 하며 EU·영국 거주자에게는 서비스를 제공하지 않습니다.

만 14세 이상만 가입할 수 있습니다. 로그인 때 본인이 확인하며 신분증으로 나이를 검증하지 않습니다. 만 14세 미만 아동의 법정대리인 동의 절차는 없으며, 아동 정보가 확인되면 해당 계정과 정보를 지체 없이 삭제합니다.

1. 수집하는 정보와 보유 기간

로그인과 연령 확인, 독서 기록의 저장·동기화·백업·복구, 구독 확인, 문의 답변과 보안, 법정 기록 보관에 사용합니다. 안내한 목적 밖으로 사용하지 않으며, 목적이 바뀌면 법에 따라 필요한 안내와 동의를 받습니다.

계정·독서·구독 기능과 일반 문의는 서비스 계약의 이행(법 제15조 제1항 제4호), 보안과 탈퇴 확인은 정당한 이익(같은 항 제6호)을 근거로 처리합니다. 관리 기능 접근 기록과 법정 거래·불만 기록은 법적 의무(같은 항 제2호, 법 제29조, 전자상거래법 제6조 및 시행령 제6조)에 따라 보관합니다.

회원 정보는 선택한 로그인 공급자로부터 받고, 독서 기록·문의는 이용자가 입력합니다. 구독 정보는 Apple 구매·검증 과정에서, 보안·접속 정보는 이용 과정에서 생성됩니다. 계정 확인값도 개인정보로 관리합니다. 카드·계좌·Apple 비밀번호는 받지 않으며, 별도 거래 보관에는 시험 구매·거래 서명 원문·이메일·독서 내용을 넣지 않습니다.

민감정보·고유식별정보를 요구하지 않습니다. 자유 입력란에 적은 내용은 독서 기록으로 저장되므로 민감한 정보나 타인의 개인정보를 입력하지 말아 주세요. 광고·행태 분석에는 사용하지 않습니다.

가명처리한 정보를 통계·연구·공익적 기록보존에 사용하거나, 법 제15조 제3항·제17조 제4항에 따른 추가 이용·제공을 하지 않습니다.

2. 탈퇴와 기록 삭제

탈퇴가 완료되면 로그인 공급자 계정번호·이메일, 독서 기록·최근 삭제함의 복구 사본과 선택 확인번호, 구독 확인 정보를 삭제합니다. 로그인 세션·Apple 연결 해제·보안·탈퇴 확인·남은 구독 복원·법정 거래·문의 기록은 위 표의 목적과 기간에 한해 남습니다. 탈퇴한 계정의 세션으로 기록을 읽거나 저장할 수 없습니다.

남은 구독은 같은 이용자임과 Apple 구매를 다시 확인한 뒤 복원하며, 삭제한 독서 기록은 복원하지 않습니다. 실패하거나 다시 탈퇴해도 원래 구독 기한을 늘리지 않습니다. 회원 탈퇴는 Apple 구독 취소와 다르므로 자동 갱신은 Apple에서 취소해야 합니다.

거래·문의 기록

법정 보관 대상은 표시·광고 6개월, 계약·청약철회와 대금결제·공급 5년, 소비자 불만·분쟁 3년입니다. 거래별 기산일은 위 표의 실제 공급 종료 기준으로 관리합니다. 탈퇴 후 법정 기록은 일반 계정 자료와 분리하며 다른 목적으로 쓰지 않습니다. 다른 법적 보존 사유가 있으면 근거와 종료 조건을 기록합니다.

운영자가 이메일 문의를 구분·보관하고 기한이 지나면 삭제합니다. 재가입 없이도 아래 연락처로 본인 거래·문의 기록의 열람이나 사본을 요청할 수 있으며, 본인 확인 후 제공합니다.

장애 복구용 데이터베이스 사본은 최대 30일 남을 수 있습니다. 개별 정보만 골라 지울 수 없는 사본이며 기간이 지나면 소멸됩니다. 장애 복구에만 사용하고, 복구하더라도 탈퇴한 계정을 되살리지 않습니다.

기록과 사본 지우기

‘최근 삭제함으로 이동’을 직접 선택한 기록만 복구 보관합니다. ‘영구 삭제’는 복구 사본을 만들지 않고, ‘취소’는 원래 기록을 유지합니다. 선택하지 않아도 다른 기능에는 제한이 없습니다. 할 일·회원 탈퇴·과거 영구 삭제에는 복구 보관을 적용하지 않습니다.

설정의 최근 삭제함에서 복구하거나 영구 삭제할 수 있습니다. 복구하면 일반 독서 기록으로 돌아가고 복구 사본은 삭제됩니다. 영구 삭제는 되돌릴 수 없습니다. 만료된 복구 사본은 정기 작업으로 순차 삭제합니다.

보관 목적과 기간이 끝나면 지체 없이 삭제합니다. 시스템 기록은 자동 정리하고, 이메일 문의는 운영자가 기간을 확인해 삭제합니다. 전자 파일은 복구·재생할 수 없게 삭제하며 종이로 보관하지 않습니다. 장애 복구 사본은 위 기간 뒤 소멸됩니다.

로그아웃·계정 전환 시 기기 사본은 숨겨지지만 미전송 수정은 같은 계정의 복구를 위해 남을 수 있습니다. 탈퇴한 기기에서는 사본과 미전송 수정을 지웁니다. 다른 오프라인 기기는 즉시 원격 삭제할 수 없으며, 다시 연결해 탈퇴를 확인하면 삭제합니다. 외부로 내려받은 파일은 이용자가 관리합니다.

3. 다른 서비스에 보내거나 맡기는 정보

선택한 Google LLC 또는 Apple Inc.(미국)가 각자 책임으로 로그인을 인증합니다. 인증 코드·ID 토큰은 확인에만 쓰고 저장하지 않습니다. Apple 연결 해제용 인증 정보는 탈퇴 때 Apple에 전송합니다.

구독 결제는 Apple의 App Store에서 처리합니다. 구매·구독 확인을 위해 상품정보, 계정 연결용 임의 식별값과 거래번호를 Apple에 전달하며, 이메일과 독서 기록은 보내지 않습니다. Apple이 직접 처리하는 결제정보는 Apple 개인정보 처리방침과 App Store 안내를 따릅니다.

한국 App Store는 Apple 미디어 서비스 약관에 따라 Apple Services Pte. Ltd.(싱가포르)가 운영합니다. Apple이 공개하는 계정 지역별 담당 법인과 국외 처리·보관 기준은 계열사 안내와 개인정보 처리방침에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

그 밖의 제3자 제공은 법 제17조·제18조에 따른 근거가 있는 경우에만 합니다. 책 검색에는 ISBN을 사용하며 이메일·회원번호·독서 기록은 검색 제공자에게 보내지 않습니다. 검색 출처와 사용법

Cloudflare, Inc.에 앱·소개 사이트 서버, 데이터베이스·백업과 접속 로그 처리를 맡깁니다. Cloudflare 데이터 처리 부속서에 따라 목적 외 처리 금지, 보안, 재위탁, 사고 통지와 계약 종료 시 삭제를 정하고 처리 상태를 감독합니다. 회사나 업무가 바뀌면 이 방침에 알립니다.

재위탁 회사·업무·국가는 Cloudflare 하위 처리자 목록에서 확인할 수 있습니다.

4. 해외에서의 처리·보관

Cloudflare의 국외 처리위탁·보관은 서비스 계약 이행에 필요하며, 법 제28조의8 제1항 제3호 가목에 따라 다음을 공개합니다.

5. 내 정보의 권리와 문의

언제든 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 앱에서 기록 수정·삭제, 설정에서 계정 삭제와 JSON 백업을 할 수 있습니다. JSON은 일반 독서 기록만 포함하며 최근 삭제함·미전송 수정·로그인·구독·결제 정보와 기기 설정은 제외합니다. 내려받기에 없는 정보도 이메일로 열람·사본을 요청할 수 있습니다.

본인 또는 대리인이 아래 연락처로 요청하면 본인·위임 관계를 확인하고 법에 따라 지체 없이 처리합니다. 열람은 요청 후 10일 이내 제공하며 정당한 연기 사유가 있으면 알립니다. 정정·삭제·처리정지는 지체 없이 조치하고 접수 후 10일 이내 결과를 알립니다. 법에 따라 제한·거절하는 경우 이유와 이의제기 방법을 안내합니다. 만 14세 이상 미성년자도 직접 또는 법정대리인을 통해 행사할 수 있습니다.

Apple 연결 해제가 실패하면 Apple 계정의 ‘Apple로 로그인’에서 직접 해제할 수 있습니다. 권리·의무에 중대한 영향을 미치는 완전 자동화 결정은 하지 않습니다.

6. 정보를 보호하는 방법

운영자가 직접 처리하며, 관리 기능은 지정 계정으로 제한하고 회원별 데이터를 분리합니다. HTTPS 통신, 로그인 확인값의 안전한 보관, Apple 해제 정보 암호화, 위조·과도한 요청 차단을 적용합니다. 관리 접근 기록은 변조를 막고 매월 점검합니다. 서버 자료는 Cloudflare 데이터센터에 저장하며 별도 물리 매체로 보관하지 않습니다.

7. 쿠키와 기기 안의 정보

필수 쿠키는 로그인 유지용 booking_session(최대 180일), 로그인 위조 방지용 booking_oauth(완료 시 삭제, 최대 10분)입니다. 광고·분석 쿠키나 제3자의 행태 수집은 허용하지 않습니다. 브라우저 설정에서 쿠키를 거부·삭제할 수 있고 앱 로그아웃은 로그인 쿠키를 지웁니다. 필수 쿠키를 거부하면 로그인이 필요한 기능을 쓸 수 없습니다.

오프라인을 위해 기기에 마지막 확인 기록·미전송 수정·화면 파일을 저장합니다(localStorage·IndexedDB·Service Worker 등). 같은 계정을 서버에서 확인한 뒤 동기화하며 충돌·저장 미확인 내용은 보존합니다. 기기 사본에는 별도 앱 암호화를 하지 않습니다. 앱·사이트 데이터 삭제는 미전송 수정을 지울 수 있고, Mac 앱 파일만 제거해서는 자료가 모두 지워지지 않을 수 있습니다. 앱 삭제만으로 회원 탈퇴·서버 기록 삭제·Apple 구독 취소가 되지는 않습니다.

iPhone·iPad의 바코드 스캔은 영상·사진을 저장하지 않고 ISBN만 조회합니다. 사진에서 인용하기(OCR)는 기기 안에서 처리하며 원본·인식 이미지를 서버나 외부 인식 서비스에 보내지 않습니다. 직접 저장한 글만 동기화합니다. 원본 사진은 이용자 보관함에 남을 수 있습니다.

공유 PNG는 선택한 인용문·메모와 책 출처로 기기에서 만들며 업로드하지 않습니다. 독서 알림·타이머·일부 설정도 기기에만 남습니다. 서버에 저장한 할 일 제목·시각으로 기기 알림을 예약합니다. Mac에도 같은 기기 저장 원칙을 적용합니다.

8. 방침이 바뀌면

시행일은 2026년 11월 3일입니다. 주요 변경은 개정 전에 안내하고, 개정된 방침은 개정 즉시 서비스 화면에 알립니다. 법령상 별도 동의가 필요한 변경은 미리 동의를 받습니다.

Privacy Policy

Changwook Kang (the Operator) runs ODDPAGE, a reading journal app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This policy explains our processing, retention and your rights under Article 30 of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act (the Act). The Service is mainly for users in Korea and is not offered to EU or UK residents.

Only people aged 14+ may register. Age is self-confirmed at sign-in, not checked with identity documents. We have no guardian-consent process for under-14s; if identified, their account and information are deleted without delay.

1. Information and retention

For sign-in and age checks, storing, syncing, exporting and restoring reading records, subscription checks, inquiries, security and legally required records. We do not use it beyond these purposes; changed purposes require the notices and consent prescribed by law.

Account, reading, subscription and general-inquiry processing is based on performing the service contract (Act Art. 15(1)(iv)); security and deletion checks on legitimate interests (Art. 15(1)(vi)); operator access logs and statutory transaction/complaint records on legal duties (Art. 15(1)(ii), Art. 29, Electronic Commerce Consumer Protection Act Art. 6 and Decree Art. 6).

Account details come from your chosen provider, reading records/inquiries from you, subscription data from Apple purchase/verification, and access/security records from use. Transformed account checks remain personal information. We do not receive card/bank details or Apple passwords; separate transaction retention excludes test purchases, raw signed transactions, email and reading content.

We do not request sensitive information or unique identity numbers. Free-text entries are saved as reading records: please avoid sensitive information or others’ personal data. We do not use them for advertising or behavioural analysis.

We do not use pseudonymised information for statistics, research or public-interest archiving, or make additional use/provision under Act Articles 15(3)/17(4).

2. Account and record deletion

Completed account deletion removes provider account IDs/email, reading records, recovery copies and choice numbers, and subscription-check information. Sessions, Apple unlink data, security/deletion checks, remaining-subscription recovery, statutory transactions and inquiries remain only for the purposes and periods above. Deleted-account sessions cannot read or save records.

Remaining subscriptions are restored only after identity and Apple purchase verification. Deleted reading records are not restored. Failure or another account deletion does not extend the original subscription expiry. Account deletion does not cancel Apple automatic renewal; cancel it with Apple.

Transaction and inquiry records

Statutory periods are 6 months for advertising, 5 years for contracts/withdrawals and payment/supply, and 3 years for consumer complaints/disputes. Transaction starting dates follow the actual-supply-end rule above. After account deletion, legally retained records are segregated and used only for retention purposes. A separate legal hold has a recorded basis and end condition.

The Operator classifies, retains and deletes email inquiries. You may request access to or a copy of your own transaction/inquiry records through the contact below without re-registering, after identity verification.

Database copies for failure recovery may remain for up to 30 days. Individual items cannot be removed from these copies; they expire automatically. We use them only for failures and do not revive deleted accounts after restoration.

Deleting records and copies

Only an explicit choice to move a record to Recently Deleted creates recovery storage. Permanent deletion makes no recovery copy; Cancel keeps the original. Declining does not limit other features. Recovery storage does not apply to tasks, account deletion or past permanent deletions.

Restore or permanently delete in Recently Deleted in Settings. Restoring returns the item to reading records and deletes its recovery copy. Permanent deletion cannot be undone. Scheduled cleanup removes expired recovery copies in batches.

We delete information without delay once its purpose/period ends. System records are cleaned automatically; the Operator checks and deletes email inquiries. Electronic files are erased so they cannot be recovered, and we keep no paper copies. Failure-recovery copies expire as above.

Signing out or changing accounts hides device copies, but unsynced edits may remain for recovery by the same account. The deletion device removes its copy and unsynced edits. Other offline devices cannot be erased immediately; they delete them after reconnecting and confirming account deletion. Downloaded files are yours to manage.

3. Other services and our provider

Your chosen Google LLC or Apple Inc. (USA) authenticates sign-in under its own responsibility. We use but do not store the authentication code or ID token. Apple unlink authentication is sent to Apple when you delete your account.

Subscriptions are paid through Apple’s App Store. To make and verify purchases, we send Apple product information, a random account-linking identifier and transaction IDs, without email or reading records. Payment information Apple handles directly is covered by its Privacy Policy and App Store notice.

Under the Apple Media Services Terms, the Korean App Store is operated by Apple Services Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). Apple’s regional entities and its policies on international processing and retention are listed in its affiliated company information and Privacy Policy.

Other third-party provision requires a basis under Act Articles 17/18. Book search uses ISBN and sends no email, member number or reading content to search providers. Search sources and instructions

Cloudflare, Inc. runs app/introduction-site servers, database/backup and access logs. Its Data Processing Addendum governs purposes, security, sub-processing, incident notice and deletion at contract end; we supervise processing. Changes to the provider or work are announced here.

Cloudflare’s sub-processor list gives sub-processors, work and countries.

4. Processing and storage abroad

Cloudflare’s processing and storage outside Korea are needed to perform the service contract. The disclosure below is under Act Article 28-8(1)(iii)(a).

5. Your rights and contact

You may request access, correction, deletion or a processing stop at any time. Edit/delete records in the app; use Settings for account deletion and JSON backup. JSON contains ordinary reading records, excluding Recently Deleted, unsynced edits, sign-in/subscription/payment details and device settings. You may request access/copies of excluded information by email.

You or your representative may write to the contact below. We verify identity/authority and act without delay under the law. Access is provided within 10 days of receipt; justified delays are explained. We act on correction, deletion and processing-stop requests without delay and notify the result within 10 days of receipt. Any legal restriction/refusal includes reasons and how to object. Minors aged 14+ may act themselves or through their legal representative.

If Apple unlinking fails, remove ODDPAGE in Apple Account’s Sign in with Apple settings. We make no fully automated decisions with significant effects on your rights or obligations.

6. How we protect information

The Operator handles processing directly, limits admin access to a designated account and separates member data. We use HTTPS, safely stored sign-in checks, encrypted Apple unlink data and controls against forged/excessive requests. Operator access logs are protected against alteration and reviewed monthly. Server data is in Cloudflare data centres, with no separate physical-media storage.

7. Cookies and device storage

Essential cookies are booking_session for sign-in (up to 180 days) and booking_oauth against forged sign-in requests (deleted on completion, at most 10 minutes). No advertising/analytics cookies or third-party behavioural collection is allowed. Refuse/delete cookies in browser settings; app sign-out deletes the sign-in cookie. Refusing essential cookies prevents signed-in features.

For offline use, device storage keeps last-confirmed records, unsynced edits and screen files (localStorage, IndexedDB, Service Worker and similar). Sync follows server verification of the same account; conflicts/unconfirmed saves are preserved. Device copies have no added app-level encryption. Clearing app/site data may erase unsynced edits, while removing only the Mac app file may leave data behind. Uninstalling alone does not delete your account or server records, or cancel an Apple subscription.

iPhone/iPad barcode scanning stores no video/photo and uses only ISBN for lookup. Photo-to-quote OCR runs on the device; original/recognition images are not sent to servers or external recognition services. Only text you save syncs; original photos may remain in your library.

Shared PNGs are created on-device from selected quotes, notes and book sources, without upload. Daily reminders, timer and some preferences stay on-device; server-saved task titles/times schedule local reminders. Mac follows the same device-storage principles.

8. Policy changes

Effective November 3, 2026. We give advance notice of major changes and announce revisions in the Service as soon as amended. Where the law requires separate consent, we obtain it beforehand.
