앞서 공지한 ‘11월 16일 이후 모든 삭제 기록을 자동으로 30일 보관’하는 전환 계획은 철회합니다. 기존 영구 삭제 방식은 유지하며, 새 버전에서는 이용자가 삭제 확인창에서 선택한 경우에만 복구용 보관을 요청할 수 있습니다.

• ‘최근 삭제함으로 이동’을 선택하면 해당 책·인용문·메모와 복구에 필요한 관련 정보를 계정에 30일 보관하고, 일반 화면과 검색에서는 숨깁니다. 설정 → 기록 보관 → 최근 삭제함에서 복구하거나 영구 삭제할 수 있습니다.
• ‘영구 삭제’를 선택하면 새 복구 사본을 만들지 않습니다. 취소하면 아무 기록도 바꾸지 않습니다. 복구 보관을 선택하지 않아도 나머지 앱 기능은 그대로 이용할 수 있습니다.
• 오프라인에서 이동한 기록은 같은 계정의 서버에 처음 정상 수신된 때부터 30일을 계산합니다. 그 전에는 이 기기에 남아 있으며 동기화 완료를 의미하지 않습니다.
• 이전 버전이나 이 기능 도입 전에 삭제한 기록은 나중에 동기화되어도 자동으로 최근 삭제함에 보관하지 않습니다. 이미 영구 삭제한 기록은 되살릴 수 없습니다.
• 할 일 삭제와 회원 탈퇴는 최근 삭제함 대상이 아닙니다. 만료 항목은 정기 작업으로 순차 정리하며, 다른 오프라인 기기나 내려받은 백업은 즉시 원격 삭제할 수 없습니다.

이 안내는 선택형 복구 보관 기능을 설명합니다. 기존 처리방침의 일반 삭제 기준을 일괄 변경하는 시행 공지가 아닙니다.

Optional Recently Deleted

Correction: October 17, 2026. The previously announced plan to automatically retain all deleted records after November 16 is withdrawn. Permanent deletion keeps its existing behavior. Versions with this feature offer an explicit choice for each deletion.

• Choose “Move to Recently Deleted” to keep the selected book, quote or note and its recovery information in your account for 30 days, hidden from normal screens and search. Restore or permanently delete it from Settings → Record storage → Recently Deleted.
• “Delete permanently” creates no new recovery copy. Cancel changes nothing. Declining recovery does not restrict other app features.
• For an offline move, the 30 days start when the server first successfully receives it for the same account. Until then it remains on this device and is not confirmed as synced.
• Deletions from older versions or before this feature are not archived retroactively when they sync later. Permanently deleted records cannot be brought back.
• Tasks and account deletion are not included. Scheduled cleanup removes expired items in batches. Other offline devices and downloaded backups cannot be erased remotely at once.

This is an optional recovery feature, not activation of blanket retention for ordinary deletion.
